Announces Requests for Grant Proposals for 2025

The Foundation Board of Directors invites applications for its 2025 grant cycle. Our goal is furthering the mission and ministry of First United Methodist Church – Brevard by supporting ministries within our congregation and the greater community.

Grant requests may be made by individuals with a relationship to First UMC Brevard, or by local non-profit organizations. Funds are awarded for various needs such as start-up grants, project funds, and program funds rather than for ongoing operational or maintenance expenses. As guided by our mission, the Board is looking to fund projects and programs that further the following:

• • Enriching the impact of ministries within the congregation such as Christian education, children ministries, youth ministries, older adult ministries, music, worship, etc.
  • Support the vision of the church through local, regional, and international missions.
  • Building the impact of the church within the community
  • Helping the church endure and serve faithfully into the future
  • Providing opportunities for giving of one’s time
  • Educating the church body about stewardship and/or stewardship opportunities and encourage stewardship and financial giving
