Audio/Visual
Since the pandemic taught us how valuable live-streaming the service is for those unable to attend in person, this has become an essential worship support. This requires working with relatively simple audio-visual equipment.
We need your help!!!
Training – Will hold a group training session for those interested and OJT with Hank Welter and Steve Kiser for the first time using the equipment.

Welcome Desk Receptionist
As the welcoming presence in the office and on the phone, this person interfaces with a variety of people and in doing so, represents the mission and vision of our church.
We currently are in need for a receptionist on Tuesdays (9-12/1), Wednesday (afternoon, noon-3), Thursday (9-12/1) and Friday (9-12).

Rhythm Guitarist
Music has always been an integral part of the 9AM Praise worship service at Brevard FUMC. We are on the lookout for a new rhythm guitarist for our praise service!

WNC Firewood Ministry Volunteers
Firewood Ministry is a year-round ministry established to provide firewood heating assistance to our qualified neighbors in need, To fulfill its mission of providing warmth and comfort to those in need, the management team has critical needs for motivated volunteers to serve as Delivery Coordinator and Administrative Coordinator.
The Delivery Coordinator will receive needs from Sharing House and manage a team of volunteers to make the deliveries to established bins at Sharing House and to qualified clients. First deliveries will begin in December; until then, team and process development will be the primary focus. Time commitment is expected at about 50 hours per year, normally the bulk of which will be during the winter months.
The Administrative Coordinator will act as the ministry’s secretary and treasurer, working with sponsoring congregations to manage ministry funds. Additional responsibilities include establishing and maintaining official ministry records and reports, to include insurance and equipment ownership documentation. Time commitment is expected at about 50 hours per year, roughly uniform through the year.
